It was such an honour for us to do both the photography and videography at Clare and Conchubhar's wedding and we're so excited to share this blog!

Even though the final few frames from this wedding look like somewhere in America (the Nevada Desert or Joshua Tree jump to mind) Clare and Conchubhar had their wedding day in beautiful Donegal. It was June and we were in the middle of "the 2018 heatwave". Donegal looked stunning in the sun and these two amazing people made it look even better.

Clare got ready in an airbnb right at the foot of Mount Errigal (Donegal's highest mountain) and it was such a short distance to the ceremony that you could see the chapel itself from the bedroom window.

After the ceremony, we drove to the Poison Glen and the ruins of the old Church of Dunlewey. Really breathtaking locations, especially in that weather.

The reception was held at An Chuirt Hotel, just down the road from Errigal and at sunset we went to a location in front of the mountain for some stunning evening portraits. It's a known fact around Gweedore that Errigal glows pink in the sunset, due to the sun reflecting off Errigal's quartzite rock. It looked absolutely sensational!
